The Purdue Boilermakers have been selected as the Big Ten Conference’s representative in the 2006 Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, bowl officials announced today. The game will kickoff at 8:00 p.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 29 and will be televised nationally by ESPN.

Florida Citrus Sports and ESPN announced the Champs Sports Bowl will be played in primetime this December. The game, first of two bowls hosted in Orlando only 65 hours apart, will kick off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2006, airing nationwide on ESPN.
