In week 6 we saw movement in the polls from the Big 12. Oklahoma State, after a win against West Virginia, jumped the highest in both polls while Oklahoma, after falling to Texas, dropped the furthest. In the ACC, Duke makes an appearance in both polls after defeating Army.

After a wild weekend that shook up the Top 25, the Big 12 and ACC both had big movers. TCU and Baylor jumped into the second and third spots respectively with big conference wins over . Clemson’s win over Notre Dame launched them up six spots to number six. And Oklahoma gained five spots after a win against West Virginia.

Two of the most exciting games came from the Big 12 last Saturday as TCU and Oklahoma State narrowly held on to win on the road against Texas Tech and Texas, respectively. Coincidentally (or maybe not), the biggest changes in the polls came from the Big 12 with Oklahoma State and West Virginia as the biggest movers.

Duke knocked Georgia Tech out of the Top 25 and North Carolina State improved to 4-0 as the Atlantic Coast Conference went 5-5 in week four. West Virginia joins the Top 25, giving the conference a 20 percent share of the poll. Four teams faced off in conference play as the Big 12 went 4-3 in week four.
